Hi! I’m Liz, the owner and baker in chief of @Bostinbakery.
For over 10 years I have worked as a freelance musician (reeds) in various pits for various shows. My last gig pre-Covid was a workshop for the RSC’s ‘Magician’s Elephant’ and I was so excited to be a part of it.
I used to take baked goods to pretty much every show for the rest of the band to share in the interval, still not sure whether I was booked for my playing or the baking. When Covid-19 hit, I was left with two problems, too much time and too much cake!
I started posting various bakes out to friends and family to cheer them up, and these cookies became the firm favourite. It was suggested that maybe this had legs (who doesn’t like getting cookies in the post?!) and at the end of July 2020, Bostin’ Bakery was launched.
I now send indulgent, home-baked cookies across the UK, including several Vegan options.
