When I walked out of the stage door at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow on March 16th 2020, I never thought I’d be away for so long. Having worked in lighting for 30 years it was a strange new world I emerged into, mainly one bathed in real, actual daylight! I have been drawing animal portraits for the last few years so now I have had the time to make that my full-time job. I create traditional, photo-realistic portraits in pencil from your photos. I am also developing a range of prints, hand-painted brooches and fridge magnets as well beautiful supersoft wool scarves using textile waste direct from a Scottish mill.
