My customers commission me to make pencil portraits from photographs, usually of family members, friends or pets, and occasionally favourite celebrities. My 'normal’ job is as a Deputy Stage Manager in the theatre world, working backstage on shows calling the technical cues that happen during a performance. I was in rehearsals for 4000 Miles at the Old Vic when lockdown happened, and I’m really hoping that we can pick that show up where we left off and present it to an audience as soon as we can.
