Hi all! I’m Vicky and I’m the creator of Flying Pig Embroidery.
Pre-Covid I was working as a costume cutter and maker within Manchester and West Yorkshire, working between Leeds Playhouse, The Royal Exchange and Northern Ballet. I was just finishing on Geisha for Northern Ballet when theatres got closed and the rest of my work for the year disappeared. I have always loved embroidery since my Grandmother gave me my first cross-stitch kit and that developed into a love of couture embroidery and digital embroidery design and the start of my business.
At Flying Pig Embroidery I design and create all sorts of embroidered pieces, from bespoke jackets, to personalised baby blankets, to cute keyrings and decorations to wall art hoops to tote bags. Some of our most complex designs have been created for customers to give as truly unique keepsake presents to their loved ones. There is something for everyone and if you can’t find what you like I will happily create it for you!
