Mary the Crafty Fox

Hi! I'm Mary from @marythecraftyfox. I'm a huge lover of all things crafty and all things cats, so I decided to bring both passions together to create pet accessories especially for cats (and small dogs).

Before Covid 19 hit I was an actor and theatre chaperone. In fact, I originally learnt to knit when I was on the UK tour of Oliver! where a very kind dresser in Newcastle taught me. There was much running back and forth as I continued to drop stitches but I finally got the gist of it! Years later, after many many scarfs, I started to knit hats for my cat, Pete.


Being a Swing on the UK tour of Kinky Boots gave me lots of time in the dressing room (when not rushing around trying to play 3 parts at once) where I was usually found with a ball of wool and some knitting needles.


Over this last year I have really expanded my range of cat hats and focused my brand to create handcrafted pet accessories, including a selection of bandanas and bowties.
