Paul Carroll Art

Hi there, I’m Paul and I am an actor, singer and pre-covid I was employed as a Box Office Manager. Unfortunately I was made redundant in November 2020 and like so many; struggled for a while to find a way forward.

I picked up a paint brush again for the first time in years and started painting watercolours, firstly as an aid to my mental health and whilst it was extremely therapeutic, I was advised by family and friends to do something about using this untapped talent to my advantage.

So I set up an Etsy shop and am selling Giclée prints, greeting cards and more. I’m looking forward to my business growing.

Image Descriptions:

Left: A watercolour painting reproduced as a fine quality A5 Giclée print on Hahnemuhle German Etching 310gsm paper. A rainbow coloured monarch butterfly is facing left on the print and it is in a black frame. In the foreground left and right are red apples.

Middle: Three A6 greeting cards of original watercolour paintings with envelopes behind – from left to right; a yellow and black bumblebee facing left; a red and black 7-spotted ladybird facing left; a rainbow coloured monarch butterfly facing left with artists trademark in the bottom right hand corner of each card. The greeting cards are presented on a cream wicker basket top with a cream sheepskin rug on the right and a white vase with creamy pink roses at the top centre of the image.

Right: A watercolour painting reproduced as a fine quality A5 Giclée print on Hahnemuhle German Etching 310gsm paper. A black/blue crow; its body facing right, turns its head to the left. The background of the painting is multi coloured going from a burnt orange surrounding the crow, fading to a dark green and eventually to a black. The print is placed on white tissue paper.]
