Hi I am Lisa from @Stitchthoseswears usually I am a Costume Supervisor based in London. I have been freelance for over 15 years working for companies both in the UK and further afield. I love my job and especially the people I get to work with and the huge variety of shows I get to be a part of. When lockdown hit I, like so many others, had all my work for the year disappear. As a way of managing the lockdown frustrations I started embroidering swear words whilst binging watching boxsets and so Stitch Those Swears was born. I have always been a bit sweary and I love flowers and colours so I put all these elements together in embroideries. The words are in negative space surrounded by brightly coloured flowers. I have had such a great time embroidering people's commissions over the last year and learning new swears to add to my usual rotation. I extended the range from the embroideries to included printed tote bags and mugs and have plans for more products to add to the sweary range soon.
