Hi! I’m Vicki from @thelittlecottonclub. Up until March I was working in costume production for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for the West End and the global productions, all of which, of course, are paused for now. After finishing 6 weeks of making scrubs for the NHS in the spring, I decided to set up The Little Cotton Club to keep me busy!
I love to source colourful and fun 100% cotton fabrics for my products, which include face coverings and personalised cosmetic pouches and kids backpacks. My aim is to produce designs that are not only great to use and look at, but also that produce a low amount of waste in the production process. I also try to use the lowest amount of materials that cannot be composted or recycled as possible, including packaging.
I’ve recently added a range of reusable gift bags for Christmas to my Etsy store. They are a great way to reduce the tons of wrapping paper and sticky tape (most of which isn’t recyclable) that we throw away each year in the UK. Also a great way to reduce time spent wrapping presents, and more time for mince pies. WIN!
I love to make custom orders, not only sourcing special fabrics for the recipient’s personal tastes, but also one-off products to the customers specifications. Please get in touch either through Etsy (link to the store in my Instagram bio) or DM on instagram if you a have a special fabric gift in mind.
