Hello! Welcome to The Sewing Loft’s Accessories, Gifts and Alterations service.
My name is Amy Boulton and have been working as a freelance Costume maker and wardrobe Assistant/Deputy since 2014. I studied at The Arts University Bournemouth for 4 years in Costume with performance Design, specialising in costume construction.
I have worked on many productions such as:
-Dreamgirls West End
-Opera Holland Park
-Les Miserables UK and Ireland tour
-The Royal Shakespeare Company UK and international tour, which unfortunately was cut short due to COVID 19.
The Sewing Loft is a business I have set up to continue providing my sewing skills. I offer a range of accessories and gifts including face masks (both everyday and novelty,) tote bags, cushions for both indoor and outdoor use, and custom made memory cushions for loved ones; all of which can be delivered to your front door. I also provide an alterations service; shortening hem lengths, changing fastenings and adapting and up-cycling garments etc. I also offer bespoke custom made dresses , for those who require a one of a kind piece, made to measure.
I will be adding new and exciting products which will be available later on in the year, so keep an eye out as you won’t want to miss out!
