Hi friends! I'm Charlotte from @tied.in.knots.textiles, and before the pandemic I was a dresser and occasional stagehand at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton. I was always knitting backstage and had wanted to set up my own knitwear brand for a couple of years, so after a few months out of work I finally took the plunge.
In August I launched my first collection of knitwear, and in September followed it up with a range of beanies, scarves and snoods ready for autumn. My style of work is bold, colourful and cosy. I love to make things that reflect my personality and typically can't be found on the high street. I also love a pompom and they appear a lot in my designs.
I use 100% merino wool in my work which is a wonderfully soft and comfortable material as well as being sustainable and eco friendly. I'm committed to being plastic free in my company and helping others on their journey to shop more sustainably.
I also love making custom orders for people and I'm always free for a chat if you have an idea for a project. Everything on my website is designed to be completely customisable so I'd love to hear from you.
