Rosie is a queer, London based, self-taught illustrator, and dresser. Having worked in theatre for seven years, she was encouraged to open a shop after much pestering from her colleagues who had received countless opening night, closing night and birthday cards designed by her.
DrawnAtTheHalf started as a way to stay creative whilst working on the West End, but since COVID, it has become more of a full time gig. The majority of her work is inspired by her second love: Disney, but she finds time to be a little stagey too. Most of all, she stays true to a love of colour.
Recent work has included paper dolls, a custom printed fabric, a commissioned baby shower print, and even a few logos for fellow theatre creatives turned small business owners! Once things go back to normal, she is hoping to also fill the gap in the market and start making cards aimed at the theatre industry.
