Hello from @mamaloops_ I am Lucy from Manchester and this is my little business
I make handmade personalised cushions including Owls, uniowls, unicats cushions, fairy tooth/Monster tooth cushions, plush baby blankets and custom made commissions.
I’ve been a freelance costume supervisor & maker for over 20 years, mainly at the Royal Exchange Theatre, where I was making costumes for #rocketsandbluelights when the pandemic hit. We had just finished a long tech week ( how I miss them now! ) when it was sadly cut short.
I started Mamaloops up just over 10 years ago when I made a cute owl cushion for my first born Reuben. I made more for friends and family and then started getting some interest with people wanting to buy them. It became a little side line to my Theatre work and gave me much enjoyment to make them too.
My little business has grown so much in the last year and I am very thankful of all the support I have had especially from my small business buddies on here! And of course @notonthewestend
I’m looking forward to expanding my business further and have lots of new product ideas to fill up my Etsy shop in the near future!
